GTA Opens Dedicated Quality Assurance
Office in China

Dedicated facility responds to economic downturn, cuts in business travel.

Causeway Bay, Hong Kong (March 25, 2009) - Global Technology Alliance (GTA), announced it has opened a dedicated Quality Assurance (QA) office central to its network of outsourced manufacturing facilities in the Yang Xi Region and Northern China.

While quality assurance and product compliance has always been a number one priority for GTA, Chief Executive Officer Trent Decatur said the recent downturn in the US economy provided the needed impetus for opening a dedicated office.

"Many of our customers in the US have had to cut back on their business travel budgets to combat the affects of the recession," explained Decatur. "Our mid-sized clients in particular have had to cut down on the amount of time their staff spends traveling and overseeing production in their outsourced manufacturing facilities. In cases where there are issues with urgent production releases, the financial affects can be devastating."

GTA's quality team acts as an extension of their customers' quality engineering department, offering objective third-party oversight, dedicated staff, experienced quality test engineers and other resources in close proximity to supplier manufacturing facilities. When urgent production issues arise, a team can be assembled on site within two hours of a phone call.

Accredited by the Hong Kong Accreditation Service (HKAS) according to ISO/IEC 17020, the GTA quality team provides technical problem solving, factory pre-qualification; pre-production/in-production inspection; on-site standards, measurement and testing; final random inspection and loading services.
